OGUN * OSHOSI

Ogun
The orisha Ogun is one of the most beloved in Yoruba culture. Firstly because he was the first blacksmith. How was he too who discovered the foundry and invented all the tools that exist. Is the patron of technology and culture.

Having invented the tools with the scythe he opened the first routes to the rest of the world which gives him the power to open them or close them. With the knife he made the first sacrifice ritual. So always praise Ogun during these sacrifices and his invention of the knife. With the rake he plowed land and planted with the scissors cut fur and invented the shelters. With the ax cut trees to build shelters with the hammer can attach with nails that invented. With the wedge can lift heavy weights and so did Ogun. Who forged the sword war and conquer territory for his people. He however refused to be king preferring the challenges to power. Continued fighting and inventing forever. Today it is said that computers are of Ogun and Ogun are also all the systems analysts.

Ogun only erred in the myths when his father sent him to do a task. The way he got drunk with palm wine and ended up not doing what it should. From there never drank but it is said that the children of Ogun love white wine and must be very careful with drinks.

War is Ogun whose name means just war. How Ogun never get tired of fighting it is customary to call for his help in situations where it is extremely difficult to continue fighting or when the enemy is extremely strong. One should not invoke Ogun for nothing because his genius is extremely violent and says a oriki (ancient invocations) he kills the unjust and the just the thief and the owner of the house stolen (because it allowed to happen) so you should not play with this Orisha. Ogum not forgives.

Says that the myth was Ogun who taught Oshosi to defend themselves also to open their own paths in the woods where reigns
